A: Prior to working for SAM, I worked for the US Navy for 12 years as Program and Management Analyst. I started working for SAM in August 2022 as a Business Systems Analyst for the IT department. I am the administrator for Netsuite, MaintainX, and a few other projects in the works.
Q: How did you come to be part of the team at SAM? What attracted you to this role and our company?
A: I realized living in Florida was not for me wanted to move back to Pennsylvania. The size of the company was an attraction.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working at SAM? Is there a specific aspect of your job or the company culture that you find particularly rewarding?
A: I especially enjoy working with my team. Getting to know so many people within SAM has been fun. I also love how understanding people are when I make a mistake.
Q: Is there a memorable life lesson or piece of advice that has shaped your outlook or approach to life and work?
A: Live your life and make memories because work will always be there.
Q: Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or interests that you enjoy pursuing in your free time?
A: Woodworking, skiing, tennis, detailing my beloved car, visiting new breweries, and coin collecting.
Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
A: I won a tennis tournament in Palm Springs, California.
Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself?
A: I volunteer for Canine Campaigns for Independence. My last puppy, Fitzgerald III, is a Golden/Labrador Retriever. He flew into Tampa on a private plane when he was 8 weeks old. He’s a year and a half now and he graduated to a full-time service dog November 2nd. He’s well above average.
Q: What is your go to Sunday cleaning/organizing song?
A: Any Rolling Stones song
