Q: How long have you been working for SAM?
A: I have been with SAM for a year as of April.
Q: What do you like about working for SAM?
A: SAM gives me the inspiration and encouragement to do my best every day. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with my peers and helping them whenever possible. I enjoy the interactions that I have with my new, current, and previous tenants. There’s a story behind every person and you do not know what they may be experiencing at this point in their life. Compassion and tolerance can go a long way. The Dalai Lama once said, “Compassion and tolerance are not a sign of weakness but a sign of strength.”
Q: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
A: I love to spend time with my grandchildren outdoors, drawing, coloring, or building LEGO sets.
Q: Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
A: I have sketched, drawn, and painted with charcoal, graphite, and pastels since I was 13. I am a full-time college student, dual-enrolled in a local community college and university. I will graduate in 2025 with my Master of Science in Computer Engineering degree.
Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share?
A: I have three daughters, two bonus daughters, and eight grandchildren.
Q: What is your go-to Sunday cleaning and organizing song?
A: September – Earth, Wind & Fire
